Write What Delights

  • Nashville Public Library 615 Church Street Nashville, TN (map)

Sometimes the best route to even your frights can be your delights. We'll focus on joy at this workshop--the joy of language, the joy of gathering for poetry and writing our personal joys into our poetry in this workshop with writing prompts and reading poems. Start collecting a list or images of things that delight you, and bring them with you.

SLANT workshops are intended for high school students. We meet in StudioNPL on the third floor of the Nashville Public Library. This is a free event open to students from any area, but workshop seating is limited, so please click to RSVP. If you sign up for an event and find that you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that someone else has the opportunity to participate. Contact joe[at]porchtn[dot]org with questions.
