Record Your Own Audio Stories

For storytellers and future journalists who want to experiment with the recent explosion of audio storytelling methods, this class provides a hands-on intro on how to write and record stories for podcasts and the radio. In this workshop, we'll tap into the radio journalist’s perspective on experiencing the world, then write, record, and edit our own audio stories. No prior experience is necessary.

Tony Gonzalez, a news reporter in Nashville since 2011, covers city news, features inspiring people, and tells offbeat stories for Nashville Public Radio. During nearly four years at  The Tennessean  newspaper, his investigative reporting and feature stories were honored in the state and nationally. Gonzalez grew up in the Chicago suburbs and married his high school sweetheart. They live in East Nashville.
