Audio Storytelling & Radio Journalism of the Future

  • Nashville Public Library 615 Church Street Nashville, TN, 37219 United States (map)

The success of the Serial podcast—a show that sought to solve the real-life murder of a teenager—pulled podcasting into the national spotlight last year. That’s good news for teens and future journalists who want to experiment with an explosion of audio storytelling methods. This class provides a hands-on intro to writing for the radio and podcasting, and taps into the radio journalist’s perspective on experiencing the world and gathering stories.
