Repeat Yourself

Repetition goes by many names: litany, refrain, cataloging, and anaphora. It is an incredibly versatile literary device and in this workshop we will learn how to use repetition to heighten emotion and write powerful pieces that capture your listener’s ear.

Christina Stoddard is the author of  HIVE , which won the 2015 Brittingham Prize in Poetry (University of Wisconsin Press) and was a finalist for the 2016 Washington State Book Award.
